Nice cars. A buddy used to have one before it caught fire. Hes got another one now but its a basket case. I keep telling him to fix it but hed rather but a V6 into his fwd GT because its nicer.

Those are fun cars...friend had one in HS (which died a horrible death to the back of an F150). Don't know that I'd want one for a toy at that price though, there's better stuff out there. Maybe a museum piece stock one.

Local, indeed. Not even a bad price. Some of the mods are unfortunate, but this would even be worth coming thousands of miles for if you were in the market. If it has lived up here for most (if not all) of the car’s life, it will be in pretty good shape. This area is second only to SoCal in car preservation, in my opinion, with better paint and less rubber disintegration. Exterior plastics last a very long time without discoloration. The only things you have to worry about here are vegetation getting in places, moss growing, and some paint erosion (in cars that are completely neglected). Just a short distance from the sound and rust is rarely a problem (no salt on roads and it rarely freezes).
